GCL Food Ingredients (Giorgio’s Continental Limited) is today a BRC AA grade leading manufacturer of fresh and filled pasta, as well as a manufacturer of cooked meatballs and sausages used as part of a finished dish or as pizza toppings. Based in Newthorpe, Nottingham.
GCL was founded in 1964 and we have moved from serving the local community as a delicatessen to becoming a key national supplier for major restaurant chains in the UK.
Our latest product lines not only include the ability to manufacture bespoke authentic Italian ingredients, but now also have the capability to manufacturer products for the Chinese, South East Asian and American market.
Our years of expertise makes us specialists in the manufacturing of fresh and filled pasta right here in the UK. We use the finest ingredients brought across from our partners in Italy which results in the highest quality product. We are also able to supply cooked ready to heat IQF sachets in portion controlled bags using only the finest quality Italian dry pasta cooked and available in sachets here at our site in Nottingham.
We are able to offer cheese in various different formats for various different usages. Our factory facilities allow us to supply Crumbled, Grated, Powdered, Shaven and Cheese Sachets from 12gr upwards dependant on your requirements. Our range includes Italian, UK and EU cheeses. At GCL we are driven by market insight, with our latest cheese product line including a new vegetarian Italian hard cheese following on from the surge in the vegetarian market.
