Pizza Pasta & Italian Food magazine is the trade magazine of the UK’s well established Pizza Pasta & Italian Food Association.

This year, the highly regarded Pizza Pasta & Italian Food Awards event (16th November, 2017) will be celebrating its twenty-seventh anniversary as it continues to recognise and reward the high standards and continuing creativity that this sector as a whole has become known for.

More than 10 million tonnes of food is wasted in the UK each year. The Felix Project collects surplus food from suppliers (supermarkets, wholesalers, distributors, farms etc.) and delivers it to charities and schools across London. In this way, we are reducing food waste and food poverty at the same time as supporting numerous organisations who work with vulnerable and less fortunate communities and individuals across our City. The British Sandwich and Food To Go Association represents those businesses where sandwiches form a core part of the Food To Go offer.
Originally named the British Sandwich Association, our remit has grown over the years and we officially changed our name in 2015 to formally include the wider food to go market. For brevity, the BSA is still used as it has long since been a recognised shorthand for the Association.

In 1989, the members of the International Mediterranean Association of the Processing Tomato (AMITOM) recognized the need to share accurate and timely information about the tomato processing industry with other operators around the world. AMITOM set up a commercial subsidiary the World Information Centre for the Processing Tomato Industry (CMITI) to publish the newsletter Tomato News and provide information to the industry.
